Default Southern CA restaurants

I've had to travel to Southern CA quite a bit lately, so I've been trying different restaurants and thought I'd post my finds here:

Zpizza - Newport Beach (gluten free pizza)

Z'Tejas - Costa Mesa (mexican) :

Cicceros Pizza - Lake Forests (pizza/pasta/dessert - take out)

Veggie Grill - Irvine (lunch/dinner) -- great menu!!

Plate - Malibu (thumbs DOWN) -- not gluten free friendly even though they say they are

Claimjumper - Costa Mesa (decent menu)

Mother's Market - So Cal (amazing grocery store with cafe/deli)

A FEW PLACES I STILL WANT TO TRY:

Fresh Brothers - Redondo Beach (salad/pizza/dessert) -- pizza with a "thicker crust"

Xooro - Santa Monica (churros, fritters, hot chocolate)

The Sensitive Baker - Culver City (all gluten-free, casein free, kosher bakery)

Bodhi Tree in Huntington Beach uses wheat free soy sauce, so if you order tofu or vegetables you can get many of your items gluten free.

Green Leaves in LA (I think it's by El Segundo) has the same deal, plus their meat analogues are also gluten free. And their food is amazingly full of basil.

Thanks agnostic!

I'll have to check those places out when we go back in March. I really appreciate hearing about new restaurants.

if you are up near Hollywood go to Hugo's
It is really good and everything is clearly marked on the menu if it is vege, vegan, and gluten free
