I don't seem to have issues with it but my mother is sensitive to it. My sister recently told me about some documentary about corn in the american diet, ah, here it is: King Corn

I realized I was having problems with corn before I found out that I had been diagnosed as a celiac as a child. Drinking a soda was my last oops with corn that resulted in an instantaneous headache. My brothers and dad all have intolerances to corn. My mom suggested that I might be able to eat corn again once I healed from a gluten free diet, and I personally found that to be true. I avoid corn syrup still, just because that was the worst offender for me. The corn intolerance in my family seems to be one that builds. The reaction could really crop up even two weeks after several incidents have combined together. I am still trying to figure out if my son has problems with corn. I initially thought that he did have problems because I was pregnant with him when I started having reactions to corn.

I too am allergic to corn. I actually blistered from the allergy test. I kind of knew all along though because it NEVER "sat well" with me. I was always glued to the toilet the next day. It is very hard to find foods that are gluten-free AND corn free. I've only been diagnosed for 2 months so I'm still learning and reading every label of everything I buy. Oh, and I can't have soy either so trying to find a product that doesn't have any of them in them is nearly impossible.
