I think this is a great idea. I have recently tried a new cereal from Barbara's Bakery - they are multigrain puffins. They taste pretty good. I was happy to see one the puffins varieties is now GF (the rest of them are wheat free, but not GF). I also like the Chex honey nut and cinnamon cereals, although the cinnamon is better as a late night snack (it is a little too sweet for me in the morning). |

I think Pamela's Bread mix is the THE BEST when it comes to making gluten free bread for sandwiches. and it's super low maintenance if you have a bread machine (available for under 70 dollars on amazon!)

Food should taste good chips - These are soooo good. I've tried the multi-grain, sweet potato and cinnamon. Gluten free panty pancake mix is the best I've found. Add some flax seed and fresh or frozen blueberries and they taste like multigrain pancakes....delicious! |

It is really expensive to eat this way but its free to talk about what tastes good. I think the best way to deal with this is to learn how to cook and bake. Baking is still a challenge for me! I don't live in the US but when I go there I always binge on the readily available gluten free foods and gain at least 10 lbs. So, it's actually nice not to be able to eat this way and a lot less expensive! Snacks: Nut thins (lots of flavors, pecan is the best) Corn nuts Fritos Rice crisps Pasta: Tinkyada Orgran pastas Bread: Kinnick Kinnick mutli seed Bread mix: Bob's red mill Cookies: Pamela's !!!!! Pizza: Amy's gluten free spinach dairy free pizza Prepared meals: Annie's GF Mac and cheese- now dairy free version! |

Tonight we ate The Grainless Baker Italian rolls. I bought these because someone recommended them to me. They are sold frozen and you thaw and bake. They look beautiful and when pulled apart are very fluffy. Unfortunately, they do have what my daughter and I call "the taste". I think it is from rice flour. They were okay, but I wouldn't go to a lot of trouble to repeat the experience. Gillian's frozen pizza dough is good. We need a pizza pan with air holes to make it crispier. Foods by George has a terrific small pizza but it is pricey Because You are Special lemon cake mix is pretty good. Betty Crocker chocolate chip cookies are pretty good. I find GF cakes cook better as sheet cakes rather than rounds. I live on Real Foods multigrain corn thins. My daughter likes the Suzie square puffed rice cakes. Watch out, not all of them are GF. Arrowhead Mills Maple Buckwheat flakes are really good. Whole Foods puts them on special and then they are $3.50 each, inexpensive where I live. Crackers: Crunchmaster multigrain and seed crackers. I like the original. The rosemary was too strong for me. Kame rice crackers with seaweed are good. If anyone misses rainbow cookies Shabtai (mail order bakery) makes great ones as well as jelly rolls. Not great nutrition but very tasty We recently found crispbread by Schar which are satifyingly crunchy I agree, those Ricework chips and Food Should Taste Good chips are great! |

They are a soft granola type bar- gluten free, vegan and kosher. They kind of taste like a soft Trio bar. They are made in Canada and I found them at Costco under the Lara bars- $12.99/ 12. DD and I both give them a thumbs up. |

Bread About the ENERG-Light Brown Rice Loaf, yeah it tastes like cardboard but If you make a mix with a beaten egg, stevia or agave and immerse a slice of bread and fry it it tasted good. This is how we eat this bread. |

Trader Joes gluten free granola is expensive, but a yummy treat. Sunshine veggie burgers, barbeque flavor, are super yums! I'm also totally into banana chips right now for my crunchy snack. Question: Do gluten free vegan sausages exist?? or is there a recipe somewhere? |
