Default Fav gluten free pizza?

Mine is Amy's rice crust pizza. They make a vegan one with spinach pesto and soy cheese, and a cow's milk cheese one, also.

I love the crust on this pizza: It is just like "real" pizza, I can bend it in half and everything.

What is your fav gf pizza?

AMY'S! I eat a rice crust cheese one at least once a week. If I haven't burned a ton of calories that day, 1/2 the pizza is a good serving. But more times than not, I will eat the whole thing by myself in one sitting. It's a little over 900 calories for the whole pizza.

I've tried the Schaar (?) brand where you put your own toppings on. It was ok!

For me it's a toss up between Amy's and my own homemade (but it's Analise Robert's dough recipe), so I'm not sure. Amy's almost has too much soy in it for me or something. I love pizza though..

Is it easy to make? I've never made my own crust before.

None of you are prob in Aus but EAT PIZZA (takeaway) pizza bases rock.
Organ' pizza bases are good for homemade. Also Easy Bakers if you have a pizza tin as it makes a runny paste not a dough. For both base cook first the add toppings and cook again.

it is easy, I find it a relaxing thing to do on weekends, it just takes a bit more time as you have to let it rise, also I like the fact that I control what I am putting into it...

Yes, that sounds like fun. I used to love to bake, but it was with wheat flour. I never made pizza, but I used to do cookies, pies, cakes....since I haven't been able to use gluten anymore, I just kind of stopped.....maybe I'll try my hand at gf baking.

I second the Bob's Red Mill suggestion- super easy to put together (with a mixer), and I highly recommend getting a pizza stone- it totally improved our pizza's texture. I don't know if it sucks out extra moisture or what but we make pizzas constantly now.
I used to eat Amy's frozen, and I felt the need to doctor the crust with butter & stuff, but it's still pretty good in a pinch. I tried the vegan soy cheez one, and I really didn't like that- the cheese was kind of rubbery. I like light sauce and a pantload of cheese (yeah, not vegan) so I like making my own at home. Plus the Bob's mix makes 2 pizzas so the husband can put strange meat products on his own.
