Default stevia

Hi all,
I have been using stevia powder in my coffee for a while (you know the refined white powder). I bought and am trying the stevia leaf powder- less refined green stuff that is less sweet. Anyone have experience with it and/or tips on how to mix it better with my coffee? Its sort of leaving "chunks" and is not so good! Thanks

A friend uses stevia powder, and when he can't get it, he uses the unrefined stuff. ( I think he bought it online by accident, or something).
If he has to use the unrefined stuff, he has figured out how much he needs to sweeten the whole pot of coffee, and puts it in with the grounds to avoid the "chunks".

Jax

The only experience I have with stevia is in Yogi brand teas, they have the stevia already in the tea bag. I have found it to leave a bitter taste in my mouth. I prefer honey or sucanat to sweeten tea.

At any natural food store, like Whole foods.

Raw honey is the best. Agave is very delicious as well. You can find them at pretty much any health food store.

try the liquid stevia that comes in a dropper bottle (whole foods). much easier to mix than powder although i'm still not a fan of stevia and coffee because i can't get over the bitterness. i love it in some herbal tea though.

Some brands of herbal tea already have stevia in the tea bags, like Yogi brand teas.
