Question Beer?

I'm new to the site, and wondering if anyone knows what (if any) GF beers are also vegan?? I contacted Redbridge but haven't heard back...

Thanks so much!!!

Here is what I received by email from A-B regarding Redbridge:

"Redbridge is brewed using sorghum, water, yeast, a blend of imported and domestic hops, and corn. No wheat or barley is used to make the beer. In addition, we don’t use animal derived ingredients in this beer (or any of our beers), nor as lubricant in the process equipment for making the beverages or packaging material."

what's that got to do with beer? (have to ask: i'm a omnivore and have little knowledge - but trying to gain more!)

as for the original question - in australia we have a supplier for GF beer - the online shop also has a checklist for whether any of their products are GF, Vegan, Vetegarian, Yeast-free, soy-free, sugar-free, egg-free, nut-free, etc

Sunnybrook's Gluten Free Shop (forum says i have to have 15 or more posts to add a link to my post, so i have to just put the name here and you'll have to just google it yourself... sorry! it's basically glutenfreeshop dot com dot au)

i found it on google one time when finding a GF beer for a GF vegan friend of mine as a surprise summer gift. she really liked it (i bought the SCHNITZER BRAU variety).

O'briens Gluten free beer is very tasty although quite expensive.
You can brew your own GF beer at home here is the link...
Have not tried it yet waiting for the weather to warm up.

I've been drinking Redbridge and it's quite tasty. But to someone who hasn't had beer for 5 years...

Bard's Tale recently re-designed their label and shortened the name to just "Bards beer" - a beer-y tasting beer.

you can make ginger beer at home, it should be always gluten free!

I think the bottled stuff is CRAZY expensive! but for now i can have gluten again so its okay sometimes.. also we have a lot of pilsner here and thats much better then wheat beer in australia.

Otherwise if you like it, wine is a good option.. or making punch
