Pizza Schar Pizza Crusts

Two thumbs way up.

These come two to a pack (at least the way I bought them) and they are not refrigerated. They are awesome though, closes thing to real consistency and taste I've had so far, even better than a home made dough in my opinion.

Those look great! Did you get them somewhere online?

I attempted to make pizza dough from scratch last week for calzones. Ugh, it came out too hard on the edges and really flat and tasteless.

Anyone know a good mix?

You can buy them on Amazon but they are on backorder currently.

Default GF Pantry

Gluten Free Pantry has a good mix that is for French Bread and Pizza Crust. It is the best I have found to date. I used one box for one crust and it came out very thick, so you might want to make more than one crust with the box. They also have great Brownie mix and White Bread mix.

Shars Pizza Crusts are available at some Wegman's grocery stores in the northeast.

Did you use the paper that came with it? My mom bought a pack and gave me one of the crusts, and said the instructions said to put the paper underneath. It just looked like regular paper and I was afraid it would burn. So I just put it right on the rack and it was great.

Made mine as a tomato-basil pizza.. mmmm!
I agree - two thumbs up!

Default mono and diglycerides

I notice on the ingredients for the pizza crust, it lists mono and diglycerides. Did anyone check if it's of animal or vegetable origin?

Thanks!

I contacted Schar's, and confirmed that the mono and diglycerides are of animal origin.
