Is Mrs. Dash Gluten-Free?

Yes and no. Some of Mrs. Dash’s products, including the seasonings blends and marinades don’t have any gluten-containing ingredients in them. The seasonings mixes, i.e. chili, contain wheat and are therefore aren’t gluten-free.

Furthermore, Mrs. Dash doesn’t operate in allergen-safe facilities. This means that the procedures that they follow could potentially be harmful if you have an allergy or intolerance.

Because of their lack of allergen-safe measures, there’s a high risk of cross-contamination, and therefore can’t be declared as 100% gluten-free.

About Mrs.Dash

Mrs. Dash is an American brand, introduced in 1983 by B&G foods, based in New Jersey. Throughout the years, they’ve changed their tagline multiple times. When brainstorming names for Mrs. Dash, they also considered Mrs. Pinch. In 2020, Mrs. Dash rebranded to ‘Dash’, although, some stores still sell the products with the original name.

Mrs. Dash makes a variety of different seasoning blends, including Spicy Jalapeno, Caribbean Citrus, Garlic & Herb, Extra Spicy, and more. They also have seasoning mixes for dishes like fajitas, chili, and beef stew. And don’t forget their marinades. Choose from Garlic Herb, Lime Garlic, and Sweet Teriyaki, and pair them with all of your favorite dishes.

The Mrs. Dash seasonings don’t contain any salt, and so you can pack your meals with flavor, while not compromising your health. So many seasonings contain a high salt content that can be potentially damaging, so this offers you a yummy, healthier option.
